Object Description
Bronze crossbow fibula of Middle La Tene character. Foot bends back to grasp leech-shaped bow to which it is also tied with wire. The foot has a junction disk with a central hole that must have held amber or enamel. The crosspiece of the spring grasps the base of the bow, which is decorated by incised chevrons. A ring is suspended from the catchplate. 7.3 x 4.8 x 3 cm.
