Object Description
Bronze crossbow fibula, Middle La Tene character. Ridged foot bends back to grasp wire bow & set w/ knob decorated w/ dot-&-circle motifs & triangular grooves. Below junction bow widens into circle disk decorated w/ concentric diamond-shaped grooves. Ridge between grooves has small incised notches. Disk riveted to spring, not continuous w/ it, as usual, may represent ancient repair. 8x6x4 cm.
