Object Description
Written on board: "Navajo Indians (Athapascan); An old Bayetta valued at $1,000.00. Note sewed up hole in centre, very rare, formerly used to put head thru. Bayetta is a Spanish wool now very very rare and not made for years. The wool is unravelled and woven into blankets or was woven for now no cloth can be bought for any money & the blankets are also extremely rare as price shows. HHE; Gift of A.M. Tozzer 1916."
