Indigenous Term "Yei dia" (Laughing all the time)
Object Description Black mask with crescent shaped eye slits, painted white band across the eyes and a vertical ridge in the center of the forehead. Teeth are inserted into the mouth and a wooden ear-plug is attached to the proper right ear with plant fiber cordage. Cordage loops and metal hooks around the perimeter of the mask would have allowed for additional elements to be attached to the mask.
