Object Description
Fragment of small shirt of coarse wool warp and weft; ends, warp faced warp interlocking plain weave; center, geometric designed taperstry stripes: Tunic portion; vertical dark brown stripes of warp-faced plainweave dovetail stepwise into a cream-colored border at lwoer edges of tunic. Between brown stripes are gold stripes with red serrated triangle design, tapestry weave on "warps" which are unwoven wefts between brown stripes. Gold stripes dovetailed into cream border. Four selvages. Warp, weft: camelid, (z-2s), 28 epcm.; 4.5 epcm.
