Object Description
Fragmentary trapezoidal beltplate or scabbard sheath with cast, raised ridges. The 2 surviving corners have rivet holes, and while there are no rivets surviving, there are pieces of sheet bronze, and evidence of contact with iron. A piece of bone adheres to the front of the plate, which shows evidence of burning. 6x3.5 cm.
