Object Description
Helmet made of 4 pieces of sheet bronze: 1 for crown, 2 at the sides, and 1 forming base and brim (now missing); held together by bronze rivets with broad, flat heads; hook at one end and eyelet at the other, just above brim, probably for attaching a crest; 2 anthropomorphic winged(?) figures are mounted on the crown. 22 x 20 cm. (diameter; est.); 15.5 cm. (height; crown); 18.5 cm. (height; total)
