Object Description
Fragmentary bronze crossbow fibula of Early La Tene character. Foot bends back and is riveted to a small "fish tail" shaped ornament that in turn rests on the solid leech-shaped bow. At the junction of the foot to the ornament is a disk with a rod on which is set an amber bead, capped with a bronze ring incised with small lines. 6.5 x 4.3 (spring) x 3.3 cm.
