Object Description
Fragmentary bronze crossbow fibula of Middle La Tene character. Knobbed and ridged wire foot bends back to grasp low, flattened leech-shaped bow, which is decorated with raised ridges matching the foot. Three other Middle La Tene fibulae were found in this grave (40-77-40/12490-12492). 8.5 x 1.6 x 2.5 cm.
