Object Description Snuff box, wooden. Necklace with wooden snuffbox decorated with reptile skin. The object is a necklace made with an 's' twisted hide. A wooden barrel-shaped snuffbox pendant hangs from the hide. It is decorated with reptile skin wrapped around the central region of the pendant; a cork seals one end and a wooden mushroom shaped on the other. Identifying numbers: A Peabody Museum number has been applied in black ink on the cork end of the pendant.
