Tuareg nomad's bedpost, carved wood. bed post. Flat paddle-shapped, dark wood implement; face of square paddle carved with zigzag design with 3 notches on top. Between the paddle and long handle is a diamond shaped piece also with carved design; the handle is smooth half way through the rough, unpolished jagged point. The back is flat. len: 66.8 cm, wid: 18.9 cm.
