Object Description
Long legged horse surmounted by rider holding bent spear, (spear may be accidentally bent). Cast bronze with separate base. Most likely 20th c. prestige bronze. (Furman) West africa. Furman associates this piece with the Northeast Cameroons, while Carlebach identifies it as Yoruba.
