Object Description "Kolomsha-shi", colored raffia top indicates that is made by bride, as her contribution to the household equipment. Expensive to dye in the past. Easy to obtain now. Reeds, called "migira" bought locally in markets but in former times made individually. Value of this type of object, as example of costly effort, is waning; used for storage; also for serving food at coffee hour. 9" h 12" dia. Unbleached straw with multi-colored trim.
