Object Description
Ivory and leopard teeth necklace.
The obect is a necklace having five carved teeth-like shaped ivory pieces and four leopards' teeth strung on to a 'z' twisted fiber cord. Small beads separate two of the leopards' teeth on the end. Two of the carved ivory beads appear to have been pigmented with a red coloring on one side.
Identifying numbers:
A Peabody Museum number in red and black ink has been applied on the surface one ivory piece.
