Object Description Hood mask for Sande, woman's society. Intricately carved wood mask coated with a dark stain. The bell-shaped mask is intended to fit over the head. There are two faces, front and back, with slits cut through for viewing. Both of the faces are identical with the exception that a pair of ears was carved above one of the faces.
