Object Description
Fish net used by children for fishing or in a net & ball game. Frame of mountain maple. Net of Indian hemp twine. In the net and ball game, a ball was rolled down a slope by one boy and caught on the net by the other. Balls consisted of a round bag of sand, a round stone, a wooden knot, etc.; any kind of ball was used. As a fishing net, it was used from both fishing platforms and river beds.
