Birchbark scroll, with scenic border (pencilled) of scenes of native life & ecclesiastical motifs. Center of scroll contains handwritten text of an address offered by the chief, now dead, of the Montangais Indians of Betsiamites, to the Apostolic Delegate, M. Counoy, on the occasion of his visits to the tribe.
