Object Description
Roach Spreader. Northern Plains style; to be placed on top of roach on head of male grass dancer. Hand-painted leather with Sioux tribal symbol of 7 tipis in red, white and black. 2 wire extensions tipped in imitation white eagle plumes. Lined with buckskin. Hole in center of spreader for braid to pass through. Measures 10.5 cm x 23.5 cm x 42 cm
