Object Description Sword, short. Straight steel blade, runnel (or groove) on each side. Gold inlaid inscription and decoration on one side of blade. Wooden scabbard covered with shagreen (leather). Metal band with inlaid gold design around scabbard. Horn handle with ornamental rivets. Sword in scabbard: 77.4 cm l; scabbard: 61.2 cm l, 7 cm w, 3.2 cm d. Other measurements in record are for sword.
