Object Description
Model of an outrigger canoe - well carved. Outriggers were used for fishing and coastal trips - rarely more than 50 ft in length
Inventory Description
Outrigger canoe model, carved wood, tapered ends, hollowed body, wooden paddle adhered to canoe interior, two curved wooden projections extend from side of canoe, projections attached to canoe with twisted fiber cordage through small perforations, projections attached to outrigger ski with twisted fiber cordage, dark pigment or resin on and surrounding cordage
