Object Description
Heart-shaped red silk purse. Embroidery is predominantly in Pekinese stitch and some satin stitch (the peony and other floral motifs. Silver metallic thread has been used also for couched outlines. Bat motifs also present. Orange silk tassels. <transliteration> (Chinese name). Purse: 8 cm. (w) x 9.8 cm. (l) x 3 cm. (d); tassels: 21.5 cm. (l).
