Object Description Embroidered green silk robe, Kossu, with Famille Rose embroidered pattern overall. Pink/red silk brocade lining. Wide sleeves which have been shortened. Black silk cuffs and round collar which extends to bottom with embroidered butterflies and plants in blues and greens. Opening is to the side. Listed in 1940 Yamanaka inventory and valued at $200.00. <transliteration> (Chinese name). 150 cm. (w) (open sleeves) x 144 cm. (l).
