Object Description
Ten spindles (24-31 cm. length); wooden sticks tapered at each end and painted with bands of color. Ceramic and cane whorls in a variety of shapes, painted and incised geometric designs. Cotton thread or fiber used to wedge whorl onto shaft. One spindle(?) thicker (0.75 cm. diameter), slightly pointed ends. 4.5 cm. from each end a 2 cm. section of three cylindrical bumps carved from the wood. This may have been a bobbin.
