Object Description
Basket - plain twine weave and design in wrapped twine weave; brown, light brown and buff elements; twined basket with false embroidery trim - twined work woven in spruce roots, about like cloth. Trim is grass wrapped around basic wefts on outside only as work proceeds. Not done with needle. This basket of later type with much color. ca. 1900. SE Alaska
