Object Description
Beaded leather coat, possibly from the Great Lakes or Subarctic. Lined w/ red flannel. Fringe down sleeves, sides, across back and across bottom. Floral beadwork using glassy beads up both sides of front and across back. Ties up front w/ thongs. Cuffs on sleeves. 88x12.5 cm. On visual inspection the attached dark reddish brown hair appears to be human with no scalp tissue present. The hair is 30-50 cm in length and is attached to the shirt via loops of fabric.
