Object Description
Basket fragment mounted currently with two other basket fragments on an acrylic plate. The fragment is likely a base or lid of a coiled basket, close coiling with noninterlocking stitches; decorative splitting of stitches on the work face. The center opening is 5 mm. The foundation element is a single rod measuring ~2 to 2.5 mm in diameter. See Coggins, page 91.
