Object Description
Wicker helmet covered with projections. The helmet is made of two-toned fiber (black and brown) and decorated with spaced mushroom-like ornaments, eight are paired and two are single. The helmet currently has no feathers and probably never did.
Inventory Description
Helmet, woven basketry cap, medium and dark brown plant fibers, open at base, arches at either side of base to accommodate ears, crest extends along center of cap, crest composed of cylindrical fiber extensions with flat discs at end, extensions resembling mushrooms in shape, eight discs are paired, two discs are single
