Object Description
Polychrome five piece Nativity scene (A-E) in cut out wooden drum (F) with plaited star (G). Wooden oval drum with one side cut out. The interior is painted blue with a yellow sun motif. Exterior is unfinished wood with a blue band at top and base outlined in a yellow and a red line. Leather top. Five piece nativity scene with cradle (E); infant Jesus (D); kneeling Joseph with blanket over right shoulder (C); kneeling Mary with hands extended in prayer wearing black, off-white and red shawl (A); angel wearing off-white robe with red dress kneeling with hands extended in prayer (B). Plaited plant fiber star (F) attaches to top of drum. Dimensions: Ceramic figures (A - E) vary from 3.8 cm high x 9.5 cm wide x 6.0 cm max. length to 12.5 cm high x 6.0 cm wide x 11.0 cm max. l[see Object Description text entry for extended description]
