Object Description Katsina with black hood or case mask wearing a purple cloak and holding a bow in left hand (broken off, 2004.2.6.1) and gourd rattle in right hand. A hide quiver is sewn onto the back of the cloak with three crossed corn husk elements; feather arrows. A "U"-shaped device with round emblem and carved feather projection attached with crudely twisted wool stranding; applied hide fringes on the carved moccasins; horsehair "beard"; feathers with cotton thread top of head
