Object Description John Marshall filming a brush fire, 1951–53. The Ju/’hoansi sometimes set brush fires to drive animals out into the open, and the expedition group occasionally set its own fires to clear the way for the caravan to Nyae Nyae. Photograph by Laurence Marshall.
