Object Description
Parfleche double saddle bags/horse drape ornamented with cut-out overlays, tin cone jingles, and crenellated fringes with yellow mineral pigment on larger fringed straps. Once with a layer of red stroud that would have enhanced the cut-outs. The fabric is now missing, with traces of red color showing only in places. Native tanned hide, possibly bison; sinew stitching.
