Object Description
Harpoon with long iron spike hafted and lashed to a heavy wood pole. A thick leather thong used as a "keeper" is tied at base of the iron spike and drawn tight to the pole secured through a hole and pegged to maintain tension. Two-ply cordage is wound around the hafted spike to further secure it to the pole.
