Somewhat rectangular grinding stone or paint mortar; one surface a shallow basin extending to edges; worn surface as well as some pecking, and covered by red pigment stain; other irregular surface has a deep longitudinal depression and 4 grooves along one end of depression; sandstone. 19.1x9.3x4.9 cm.
