Object Description
Tunkul or sacred drum. Mexico: Yucatan- Village of Ebtun. 5 x 7. Taken by F.P. Orchard. August 15, 1944. Maya Indians. Cat. No. C/7479. ( See also neg. 14040, 14041… not as good). Presented to Edward H. Thompson in 1880 by Hoboch Himon of Ebtun, Yucatan. Length 72 cm; diameter 35 cm.
