Object Description Written on board: "Kentucky. / 1. Vase was found on banks of Ohio R. near Henderson, KY. Height 9 in. Presented by N.G. Clarke Henderson, KY. / 2. Sopastone pipe. Bullitt Co. KY. Dr. Bemis. / 3. Pipe stem or mouth piece of dark marble. The bowl of pipe was a flower, carelessly broken off & lost. / 4. Vase found at Great Bend--Miss. R. The handle is a well cut opossum's head. The spout or wick tube corresponds to the tail and four short legs complete the design. Before labelled as "Indian Teapot.""
