Object Description Written on board: "Silver. In Am. Ant. Soc.; Underside is flat. This is the silver band which Dr. Hildreth found in a mound at Marietta, O. in 1819 and described as part of a "swon scabbard," see F.W Putnam's act. in (?) Am. Ant. Soc., Mar, (?) 1883. / Meteoric Iron. P.M. No. 29983. Under side flat. Upper side corrugated. From Altar of Mound, 3 Turner Group." Copper- P.M. no. 18313under side flat. Mound in Tennessee.
