Written on board: "Michigan and Wisconsin. Two silver crosses. One found near Marquette, Michigan the other -- smaller one -- near Marquette, Wisconsin. Original size Mr. Morgan Stafford, Newton, Mass 1902. Two crosses made by Charles Arnold of Montreal. 1780 to 1812 / George Quimby (July 1, 1965)"
