Object Description
Written on board: "Athapascan, Hupa / Back. / Ancient Jumping Dance Headdress. Front made of Apocynim (probably) & covered with feathers from the scalp of a woodpecker. Original now in Peabody Museum Salem. Only other specimen now known (1908) in Peabody Mus. Harvard."
