Written on board: "Kwakiutl. Wakashan."; Typed note on board: "No. 31. / Tlaoitsis. (Winter Village) / 31. General view, 1899. In the house to the left of Rainbow crest, G. Hunt is alleged to have helped to dismember the body of an old woman in preparation for a Hamatsa's dance in which his son was taking part.
