Object Description
Photographs from the Chicago World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, 1893. Subjects include views of the Anthropological building exhibits; including a stone grave (in situ and as reproduced for the exhibit) from Little Miami Valley, Ohio. Thirty-nine (39) prints from this inventory are affiliated with accession number 47-41 and are stored separately in inventory box number 10-79:1. In addition, two (2) original Thompson photographs (affiliated with accession number 59-50) illustrating workmen constructing the reproductions of the Labna Portal and casts of Yucatan ruins produced for the Exposition are also included in this inventory and stored in inventory box number 10-79:1. The remaining photographs in the 10-79 inventory are modern copy prints of Thompson photographs [see Object Description text entry for extended description]
