Object Description
A farmer living on the Kankakee Marsh, Lake Co., Indiana, shot a goose Oct. 20, 1871, and in its breast bone found this arrow, 9 in. long and 5/8 inches wide, as shown in the picture. Observe the callous. Rec. Sept. 14, 1891, from W.W. Cherhin, Washington, D.C.
