Object Description
Written on board: "Comanche Indian (Shoshonean) / Comanche drawings. Drawing made by a Comanche Indian. Dr. E. Palmer. A medical book was stolen from Dr. Shirley, a trader to the Comanches, afterwards it was recovered and these pictures were found therein. No. 1 represents a Comanche on horseback with his shield in his hand. No. 2. " " " a foot - the imitations of their German silver ornaments they delight to wear are not bad."
