Object Description
Photographs of Africans demonstrating string figures from the Belgian Congo from Daniel Sutherland Davidson Papers. "7. sanza, month. Baugala. last stage is called--Ugau o ngainto. Final stage is called ete e lobola. Appears to be constructed with two loops. path (?) starts two persons holding the twine ex(?) tension. However, the print is indistinct. If ___ is made by 1 person and placed on ground, 2 persons reach through loops and return with larger loop." Pencil drawing included on page.
