Object Description Written on board: Mexico. State of Mexico. From the National Museum, City of Mexico. Three pictures of the same big wooden drum called "Ueuetl." This drum was played upright (covered with skin) by the priests with the hands only (the teponaztl was played lying down, with wooden hammers). The upper ornamentation (en relieve) represents a male and female eagle (cuauptli and cozczcuauptli) between which is seen the symbol of war, called in Aztec "atl rlachinolli" Height about 45 inches.
