Object Description Written on board: (verso) Honduras, Central America / large photo - vase from Ulua River near Playa de los Muertos in posession of George Bähr of San Pedro Sula. -Honduras / [on envelope] Photographer G. Gordon May 1897. / Marble vase probably washed from bank of River Uloa where Gordon explored 1896. (same place from which he obtained similar specimen) This vase is owned by George Bähr of San Pedro Sula, Hon. (A similar vase is in the Am. Mus. Nat. Hist. from the Collection of Squire.) / Duplicates
