Object Description
Sioux breastplate originally belonging to Big Mouth a Sioux chief. Made from bone hair pipes. 2 sections of 42 rows each separated by a leather strip. Leather strip on each side. Each row consists of bonehair pipes w/ a brass bead on outside end of each row. Strung w/ leather strips. 42.5x28 cm.
