Zuni wand associated with the Wood Society and used in the stick swallowing ceremony. Made from piece of wood cut & notched at bottom for handle & painted in white and red broad stripes w/ narrow stripes of black. Six wild turkey feathers lashed to top. 3 1/2 eagle feathers lashed to body of wand. 72x30 cm.
