Great Basin quirt, Ute or Shoshone. Made from elk antler tine. Tine decorated w/ brass tacks from center to bottom. Red incised lines at top of antler. Leather thong tied through hole. Coming out from interior of base are two thick leather thongs covered w/ red cloth and colored beads. 86.7x11.5 cm.
