Object Description
Ink tracingsof stone carvings drawn on American Association for the Advancement of Science stationery (9 pages). Pencil notes by Frederick W. Putnam state that the tracings were done by Mr. Mead from carvings on stones 4-8 inches in diameter. Stones in cabinet of Worcester Society of Antiquity. Stones said to be found in Worcester, Mass. in 1896. Notes state, "Probably fraud." "Faked" is written on first page in ink.
