Display Title Bracelet of Hohokam figures in chipped inlay turquoise and coral

Object Description Navajo bracelet from 1960s-1970s. Wide cuff bracelet of silver. A total of six Hohokam figures -- three with one hooked horn and three with dentate faces -- are joined by their zig-zagged arms . Bodies of all figures and heads of single-horn figures are filled in with chipped turquoise inlay. Arms, legs, and heads of the dentate figures are in chipped coral inlay. Rough stamped border along the edge of the bracelet, and between the figures as if to emphasize the movement of dancing. At each end of the bracelet is a line of three turquoise chipped inlaid triangles and three coral chipped inlaid triangles. The inside of the bracelet is stamped with a sun-face with "HMIJ" wrapped around the botton of it, shop mark for Handmade Indian Jewelry, Ortega. 5.1 cm wide, from t[see Object Description text entry for extended description]
